Joanna Jefferson Architects is an enthusiastic small practice based in Chichester, West Sussex dedicated to the imaginative interpretation of our clients' aspirations through dialogue and close personal involvement in each project. Our portfolio includes a range of carefully designed, small to medium sized buildings, including one off houses, beach houses, holiday houses, extensions to listed buildings, sailing clubs and churches. We are very keen to work on contemporary and environmentally friendly buildings as well as traditional buildings and have 22 years experience of working in Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and London.
It is Joanna's belief that each project is different: there is no set formula or style, although good design, attention to detail, listening and providing an excellent service to clients are constants. The design approach for each project is a response to the individual site existing buildings and context, tailored to the individual requirements of each client. Joanna set up the practice Joanna Jefferson Architects in 1990, and with need to expand, extended the practice into the practice studio at 222 Oving Road in 1997.
