Gable Roofing & Cladding can offer roof light replacement on all types of industrial and commercial buildings across the UK. If you have an old existing metal roof or even an asbestos roof which is doing a good job keeping the water out, the chances are, if you also have roof lights, they would not be in such a good condition. On many occasions when we are asked to investigate roof leaks, the cause is often poor roof lights. We can now in some cases replace the roof lights from inside the building, saving costly scaffolding and access equipment.
In 1974, Gable started trading carrying out traditional Built-Up Felt Roofing to New Build and Refurbishment markets. Today, we can still offer traditional felt roofing applications but these have largely been superseded by the vast array of Single Ply Membrane systems as detailed on the Single Ply Membrane page. However if you require a Felt system or have an existing felt roof which is in need of repair we can carry out this type of work through our Small Works department or in many cases overlay your existing roof with a new layer.
Our Small Works Department offer all types of Roof Repairs & Maintenance to all types of properties for domestic and residential buildings. We can carry out anything from a repair of a gutter through to a complete strip and re-sheet. We also provide Planned Maintenance Schemes offering you the opportunity to have peace of mind that your building is being properly maintained. This avoids more expensive work when a problem has already made an impact on your production or service causing you further costs.

Since 1996, Gable has provided Roofing Rail Services to the Rail sector through its own Specialist Division. In the last 20 years, we have built up an enviable reputation carrying out works to numerous Stations and Depots within Network Rails Station refurbishment programme. We have also been involved with the Modular Station Scheme and the Access for All Programme. In the last 20 years we have carried out Rail Services refurbishment works to over 70 Stations and 13 Rail Depots. One of our completed projects is the replacement of the Span 4 Roof at Paddington Station.
Gable Fall Safe are able to attend site in order to carry out specific site surveys in order to ascertain your individual requirements. From visits to site for contractors to office based visits to architectural practices we can offer guidance on the most economical, safest and effective means of fall protection. After the initial design process has been carried out we will produce detailed design drawings for approval ready for site installation.
