Our core areas include: contract catering staff restaurants, commercial kitchen fit-outs, professional catering equipment, restaurant and bar dining areas, coffee shops and serveries- in conjunction with our sister company, Character Joinery, which offers a bespoke manufacturing commercial joinery service. We can provide a complete project management service, from initial design concepts through to finished installation.

As part of the service, our experienced in-house designers will come up with design concepts to match your specification. Then, once the design and project budget have been fully agreed, our fit-out team will begin production from our manufacturing workshop. By doing as much as possible of the fabrication off site, we ensure any disruption to your business is kept to a minimum.

Character Joinery a division of Transition Interiors Ltd, is a traditionally skilled, bespoke joinery workshop specialising in all aspects of timber products. Character Joinery has been trading for over 30 years, operating from a fully equipped 10,000 sq ft manufacturing workshop staffed by time served bench hand joiners and cabinetmakers. Having this workshop capacity allows us to facilitate construction works for Transition Interiors Ltd in their contract catering designs. Covering mainly Scotland & the North of England, we can supply products to anywhere in the UK.

At Transition we will see your project go from initial discussions, through all stages of the refurbishment programme, to successful handover. As every job is bespoke to your requirements, we will help create the correct package of services to meet your needs and budget. As standard, our interior fit out services include initial site survey and free design consultation. We also provide specialist advice on M&E works, including kitchen extract and air conditioning. Our 3D Modelling service includes full design proposals, using the latest Autodesk software, which allows us to create visual plans, 3D Models, Construction Drawings and Services Schedules.
