Since designing and creating our first greenhouse back in 1996 we have delivered and installed every building. We have wide and varied experience of greenhouse installation UK wide, throughout Europe and even as far as Australia! We ensure each greenhouse is delivered safely and installed to high standards, by employing our own team of qualified site joiners. We do not use outside contractors, this gives you reassurance that installation comes with a Woodpecker Joinery Guarantee. We have been designing and manufacturing greenhouses for over 20 years. In this time we have generally worked to a principle that we can adapt any of our greenhouses to suit a customer's greenhouses. We understand that each gardener's needs are different and we are prepared to accommodate these needs. We can happily change our designs to meet height restrictions or to match an existing dwarf wall. Naturally, we are biased to argue a timber-framed greenhouse is superior to the aluminum equivalent.
All of our cedar greenhouses are individually handmade by our craftsmen to give that unique quality and appearance. We employ traditional methods using mortice and tenon joints and only the highest quality Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata). We can accommodate any size or unusually shaped greenhouse, existing dwarf walls or buildings needing a new dwarf wall- bespoke items are our challenge! Being a family run business it gives us the opportunity for our team of craftsmen not only to make your building, but also to install and erect it.
We pride ourselves in having the resources available to complete near any bespoke joinery project - any scale or any size. By managing everything in-house, we ensure that all design detail is professionally managed and that deadlines are kept to. We have an experienced background in commercial greenhouses, with many buildings varying greatly in specification. Woodpecker Joinery are registered on the CIS subcontractor of the Construction Industry Scheme. Our PEFC certification means Woodpecker Joinery can offer all greenhouse installations to be manufactured from certified PEFC timber sources.
Designed to be fitted on a brick wall. We can make these cedar greenhouses to custom sizes where a direct replacement for an old building is required. We can offer various options of Victorian and contemporary styling. A popular design where a supporting wall is not tall enough to accommodate a lean-to greenhouse. Our cedar timber three quarter span buildings are usually made to measure to suit any bespoke requirements. We have experience of creating large footprint buildings suitable for use by nurseries and other horticultural businesses.
