I would like to give you a short feedback about your Robinson Ivory Transfer to Austria. Delivery was fast and perfect to Austria. I was a little frightened at first, but your instructions turned out to be really perfect - forget IKEA! Just to say I ordered this lovely greenhouse from you a few months ago, I was delighted with the service and absolutely love our greenhouse. I always thought my garden was too small for a greenhouse but it fits into this corner perfectly. My Greenhouse is now bursting with tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, chilliest and aubergines.

We actually manufacture about 70% of what we sell in our Staffordshire factory including Robinsons, Alton, and models from the Simplicity and Hercules brands. There is a massive range to choose from and you might find it overwhelming at first, but remember that we are here to help and guide you through them all if required. On this website we tend to group greenhouses together by width, so the first thing to do is establish roughly what size you need for your garden. Then choose your material - do you want aluminium or wooden?

Lighting in your greenhouse can be extremely beneficial in those spring months when daylight is still short. Having a lamp on early in the morning and after dark can dramatically increase both plant health and growth. If you are preparing plants for showing (e.g.spring bulbs) you can also them to give your plants a boost and encourage flowering. We recommend that you use these lights in conjunction with a simple timer ( just a few quid from DIY stores) this is because all plants need a few hours of darkness every night to go through their correct cycle.

Every greenhouse needs watering devices and here you can choose from the three most popular methods. Many gardeners will build up a collection of all three systems. Watering cans of course are the most simple and essential of tools in your greenhouse, but you can buy cheap plastic ones or traditionally designed top quality Haws models some of which are still made form galvanised steel for longevity. You may want to look at our excellent range of Claber hosepipes and watering guns. These european made hosepipes are superb quality and you don¹t tend to see them in the shops as they tend to be dominated buy the big players such as Hozelock.

Electricity is the most convenient as you can just buy a simple fan heater and plug it in and it will only click on when the thermostat tells it to - so once set up you never have to think about it. With electric fan heaters, the more you spend the more reliable and the more accurate they are. The Cheapest heaters may have thermostats that are only accurate to +/- 3 degrees which may result in fluctuations of 6 or even 8 degrees in the temperature of your greenhouse. This is perfectly fine for most growers, but if you really need reliability and accuracy then you may have to spend around £200+ for an electric heater that is more accurate and reliable.

Adding high level shelves to your greenhouse not only increases capacity by as much as 50% in your greenhouse but it also gives you a higher storage space for items that are best not watered regularly such as your seeds and tools. Some greenhouses can handle full length shelves such as Robinsons and Hercules. For other makes you may have to go for tray shelves which bolt to two or three glazing bars at 4 or 5ft long.
