We make Sash windows in our Brighton workshop from joinery grade softwood, hardwood or Accoya. In addition we can supply the Sash windows treated and fully spray finished in any BS or RAL colour along with lead weights and cords or spring balances, axle pulleys, sash lifts & fasteners. Here at AA Taylor we work closely with our customers to meet their requirements and have worked with the Local Authority and Architects on various Conservation projects in Brighton & Hove and surrounding areas.

Timber Stable doors provide a versatile option if you want to open the top section and keep the dogs inside (or out)! We make our timber stable doors from various types of wood including softwood, hardwood, European oak, Accoya and can include a glazed section within the top if required.

We manufacture a wide range of Casement windows from Conservation single glazed, Slim double glazed or 24mm double glazed. Casement windows can be made in a variety of timbers including joinery grade softwood which is then Protim pressure treated, Sapele hardwood, Idigbo, Iroko, European oak, Accoya and Locally sourced Sweet Chestnut. We work with Local Authorities, Architects and Home Owners to provide a window to suityour requirements and property whilst at the same time increasing thermal insulation and compliancy to Building Regulations.

We make Timber Front Doors to suit your requirements and the period of the property and we have a wide range of Traditional and Contemporary Front Door patterns available for you to browse through. From Traditional Period Front doors with detailed moulded panels to contemporary Oak or softwood Front doors - the choice is yours. We can incorporate your new Timber Front Door into a Front Entrance Screen with sidelights or Porch - the options are endless. We can also make a new frame if required and hang the door into this supplying and fitting new ironmongery and fully paint finishing both.

AA Taylor manufacture CE marked timber windows & doors in line with new leglislation introduced 1 July 2013. These windows can be made from a variety of timbers including treated softwood, Sapele hardwood, Idigbo, European oak, Accoya and can be fully sprayed finished in our workshop using microporous waterbased paints and stains. We manufacture Sliding Sash and Casement windows in a variety of styles including traditional and contemporary high performance including the fitting of ironmongery and glazing as required.

Our highly skilled craftsmen manufacture a wide range of high performance French Doors in Traditional or Contemporary styles. Doors can be fully glazed, have panelling to the lower section or Georgian bars for example. They can be manufactured in a wide range of timbers including joinery grade softwood which is then Protim pressure treated with the option of a hardwood sill, European oak, Hardwood, Accoya or locally sourced Sweet Chestnut. The Protim pressure treatment is a tried and trusted method of preserving timber against fungal decay and insect attack for internal and external timbers in above ground applications.

This versatile tilt and turn timber window is fully compliant and when correctly assembled and installed has been tested by BSI Testing Ltd. To BS5368, Parts 1, 2 & 3 and meets the requirements of the Classification for Severe Weather-tightness BS 6375, Part 1: 1989. Our tilt and turn timber windows feature a sophisticated dual action hinge mechanism and from its bottom-hung position, the sash 'tilts' inwards, to provide fresh air without draught. From its side-hung position it 'turns' into the room to make cleaning the outside glass and maintenance easy, and escape in an emergency possible.

We manufacture high performance Bi-Fold Folding Sliding Doors in a range of timbers including Softwood, Accoya, Sapele, Oak, Idigbo and locally sourced Sweet Chestnut. The doors use high quality top or bottom hung sliding door gear and are so easy to operate. Each set of doors have security espagnolette or traditional locking systems with key locking bolts. We make the doors to suit the opening so you can have various design options and varying number of sliding door panels and incorporate a single fixed door if required so you don't have to open the entire set.

We produce an endless range of beautiful high performance timber doors including Traditional Front Doors to Contemporary High Performance French or Folding Sliding Doors in Softwood, Accoya, Sapele, Oak and locally sourced Sweet Chestnut.
