Another kitchen complete today with all the second fixing done. 8 @knightsbridgem la spot lights fitted. New mains gas and water bonding. And a new @cpfusebox consumer unit fitted.
So today's job was giving a helping hand to @amythesparky. Replacing this absolute rats nest of a board on one of her jobs she has done a kitchen on. Bit of challenge this one. Moved the consumer unit closer to where all the cables were coming from to gain a bit of slack. Moving the board down so.
So today's job started out as a bit of fault finding. Previous electricians visited and just by passed the RCD and told the customer he needed a rewire after not being able to find the fault. My first recommendation was to install an RCBO board to stop him losing half his house when a fault.
Coming to an end on this 5bed rewire. Just a few more things to tick off tomorrow. But today's task was installing this @cpfusebox 28way dual stack consumer unit. Ain't going to lie. This one made me sweat a little to get it all stripped out. Prepped. Installed and powered back up before the dark.
Another consumer unit upgrade today in the bag, along with some fault finding. All tested and certified
