We also insist on them having asbestos training, IPAF for powered access equipment and PASMA for the use of scaffolding. They all hold CSCS cards and are CRB checked. We also insist our sub contractors have the same and we have developed our own sub contractor questionnaire that must be filled in and passed before we can use them. The testing of the installation is supplementary to the inspection of the installation. Any recording taken will be noted and compared with the relevant standards.
