HMA provide nationwide coverage for the specialist design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of commercial kitchen ventilation systems. A full range of bespoke canopies, service distribution units and complete ventilation systems are manufactured in accordance with our client's unique design requirements. All of our products are manufactured in our Co Durham factory right next to the A1 providing us with a great base to serve the whole of the UK. With todays market place demanding quick turn around times and reduced installation periods at HMA we directly employ our own fitting teams allowing us to offer a flexible approach and a very high standard of installation at each and every site.

All HMA's installations are undertaken by our own fully qualified and experienced ventilation engineers with all works overseen by our Projects Director.

What are fire suppression systems? Commercial kitchen fires are highly destructive. The potential loss to both property and life can be disastrous. Conventional means of tackling kitchen fires include portable extinguishers and fire blankets. Crucially, portable fire extinguishers and fire blankets cannot tackle flames that may have spread into kitchen canopies extract duct work. Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems offer a robust solution to this problem. Fire Suppression systems consist of a liquid wet chemical agent stored in stainless steel tanks and / or enclosures mounted close to the kitchen extract canopy.

At HMA we provide excellent support for foodservice consultants, catering design houses and mechanical engineers by providing efficient and compliant designs. The Ventilation design starts with the equipment layout and specification, however, at HMA we understand that some times a site survey also forms a valuable part of the design process in order to establish the most cost effective and energy efficient ventilation design. Our design drawings are AutoCAD generated and incorporate the catering layout along with ventilation equipment specification.
