PSP Group is an integrated cluster of three limited companies: PSP Architectural, PSP Aluminium and PSP Design. The three companies operate together to provide complete design, manufacture and supply processes for rainscreen cladding, specialist fabrications, rainwater goods, ventilation, solar shading, flashings, pressings and support faade systems. Our cohesive three-part system is ideal for architects, customers and suppliers who require high-quality rain-protection products and an all-in-one service for frictionless design and manufacture.

PSP Aluminium has developed a reputation for delivering bespoke solutions to suit even the tightest of programmes. By embracing new technology, cutting-edge ERP software and deploying a workforce of experienced multi-system fabricators, PSP can offer an outstanding level of service to our customers. Combining strong but lightweight aluminium profiles with glazed sections means that PSP Aluminium can offer a range of thermally broken curtain walling systems to work with a multitude of different design intents.

Stainless steels combination of high strength, excellent corrosion resistance and workability makes it an excellent choice for architects. Modern technology for material processing and finishing gives an even wider choice ranging from standard mill finish through to several grades of brushed and polished finishes. As well as different polish surfaces, a range of patterned and embossed finishes can also be supplied. The various grades available offer varied degrees of corrosion resistance. The European standard designation according to EN 10088/1 is 1.4301, the equivalent American designation which is more generally referred to and more commonly known is grade 304.

In addition to our standard fabrications, PSP specialise in the design, engineering and manufacture of bespoke fabrications in a range of materials such as steel, aluminium, copper, zinc and brass. We have the ability to achieve exacting tolerances on custom-made items such as steel support structures and curved profiles, and have previously orchestrated the manufacture of solid steel bars utilising a 5 axis CNC solution. As a company, we understand the relationship between aesthetics and the practicalities of site installation, material choice and the importance of joint selection in order to achieve successful completion of any bespoke feature or design.

Aluminium windows are inherently strong, lightweight and sustainable and offer a brilliant and modern finish to any building. As detailed on our accreditations page, PSP are fully certified to PAS 24 standards meaning we have been successfully audited to meet the requirements of Exova BM Trada, Q-Mark PAS 24: 2012 and BS 4873:2009 aluminium for security windows.

PSP Architectural has thrived across high-profile industries for over twenty years, providing rain protection systems for hospitals, airports and educational facilities, amongst other sector-specific buildings. Our 45,000ft2 state-of-the-art factory has capacity to handle large schemes with the latest manufacturing and fabrication machinery. In 2014, we expanded PSP Group with PSP Aluminium to develop our manufacturing services. Our Aluminium specialists manufacture curtain walling, windows and doors to the highest quality for maximum reliability, and our 25,000ft premises neighbours our architectural facility, enabling us to design and manufacture products for fully-integrated faade systems for the external envelope of any building.

Aluminium is 100% recyclable without any loss of its natural qualities. Recycling involves melting the scrap, a process that requires only five percent of the energy used to produce aluminium from ore. However, a significant part (up to 15% of the input material) is lost as dross (ash-like oxide). Manufacturing from mill finish aluminium provides a greater flexibility, allowing us to manufacture more intricate shapes and curves due to the ability to use joining methods such as welding. In most instances by "buffing" the welds down post powder coating, these joints will be undetectable, giving the appearance of a seamless product.

PSP offer a range of aluminium doors that can be integrated into any aluminium window and curtain walling systems as well as any PSP Architectural metal cladding and can therefore provide a full solution for the external facade. A comprehensive range of aluminium door options are available to suit many applications including commercial buildings, hotels, schools, hospitals and residential properties. PSP Aluminium systems are certified to PAS 24 standards this means that we have been successfully audited and certified to meet the requirements of Exova BM Trada, Q-Mark PAS 24: 2012 and BS 4873: 2009 aluminium for security doors.
