Mr Renewables is a leading renewable energy Assessor and Installer in East Anglia and the South East of England. We do not employ subcontractors; all our staff work directly for us and are vetted by an external agency. We provide our customers with the most suitable and cost effective renewable energy measures for their needs and offer a secure, long term investment that will potentially add value to their property. Our installations are highly optimised to give the best possible results under current government incentives, including the Green Deal and ECO.
Mr Renewables is a leading renewable energy Assessor and Installer in East Anglia and the South East of England. The company was originally started by a team of electrical and heating engineers based in Norfolk and Suffolk. Having seen the meltdown in the housing market, they decided to set up an ethical solar energy company that would source renewable energies for homes and businesses throughout East Anglia and the South East. The team was quickly joined by a dynamic Sales and Marketing Director who introduced a customer charter to enable the company to offer a professional, competitive, quality service to all.
Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHPs) use natural heat from the ground to heat your home via pipes buried in the garden. This heat is then used to heat radiators, underfloor or warm air heating systems and hot water. During the winter months heat is taken directly from the ground whilst in summer it can be sourced from a heat sink. As the temperature under the surface of the ground is moderate and remains at a fairly constant temperature, a GSHP can be used all year round. As GSHPs works using a combination of geothermal energy (from the earth's core) and solar energy (from the sun) they are sometimes referred to as geothermal heat pumps, earth energy heat pumps, geo-exchange pumps and water source heat pumps.
We're able to offer a range of Solar PV supply and installation services. From sourcing the best solar panels for your home, to arranging fitting by our qualified engineers, we've got it covered. We're also able to advice on the current financial incentives that are available to those home owners who opt to fit solar panels.
Solar PV mean's 'solar photovoltaic'. Solar panels harness the sunlight and sun's radiation, turning it into solar electricity to power a home and generate an income from the FIT (Feed In Tariff Scheme). Here you can enter the measurements of your roof or ground and we will calculate the amount you could receive from your investment including free daytime electricity, Solar PV Calculator. Solar systems are made from PV panels consisting of layers of silicon. The sun's radiation or light hit the Solar panels, then being converted into DC electricity.
Air source heat pumps bring hot water to the homes radiators and generate enough hot water to keep the whole family happy, without the worry of the next heating oil, electric or gas bill. The video below give an overview of how the system works for air source heat pumps, air to air source heat pumps. We cost each job as bespoke, giving you the flexibility to chose the air system which suits your home and budget for cost. Our preferred manufacturer Kingspan, Samsung & Panasonic are world leaders in air source heat pumps, please see the PDF documents below for more information.
Most of our recommendations can reduce your energy bills by up to 80%, with a little investment. We give presentations on: Solar PV electricity systems, Solar Thermal Hot Water systems, Air Source Heat Pumps, Bio-Mass Boilers, Wood burners and the very latest energy saving insulations for the home and business. We're also able to offer advice on The Green Deal, Feed In Tariff, RHI Renewable Heat Incentive and the Renewable Heat Premium Payment (RHPP), for both domestic and commercial premises.
Most of us these days are aware of the need to preserve the earth's natural resources and to reduce our carbon footprint and everyone in the current economic climate everyone is keen to save money. Switching to Solar Power, Wind Power or Heat Pumps generates your own electricity from sunlight or wind can achieve both of these goals. In simple terms solar power is the conversion of sunlight into electricity or heat. There are two ways in which this can be done; by means of photovoltaics (PV) or via concentrated solar power (CSP).
