Shelford Heating Ltd was formed in 2011 following a Management Buyout from Watson Petroleum consisting of the Trade, Assets and Goodwill. All staff previously employed where transferred as Employees to the new company. This knowledge of oil heating was further expanded in the late 1990's to include gas heating along with installation of heating systems, and full maintenance packages. Shelford Heating now successfully services thousands of customers annually. The future of heating is forever changing, and we are now embarking on major changes in how our homes and businesses are heated along with generation of free and renewable energy.

Shelford Heating Installation Technicians and many of the service technicians are also able to complete general plumbing works, and are either Qualified to City and Guilds, or NVQ Level 2 and 3 which are the basic levels of qualifications for all Plumbing professionals in the UK. All Apprentices within the company past and present have either gained this qualification or working towards NVQ Levels 2 and further enhancing to level 3. Shelford Heating are Members of the Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors (APHC) and we are able to self-certify our works when needed to as a requirement of Building Regulations.

Shelford Heating have the knowledge and Experience in the Design, Supply and Installation of Biomass Boilers. We are trained and Approved with Grant UK to Install the Vecta and Spira Wood Pellet Biomass Boilers and we hold the QCF Mapped Course that enables us to obtain registration and Certification with the APHC as an approved installer much like we already hold with Air Source Heat Pumps which enables us to Certify the Installation and obtain access to the Renewable Heat Incentive. We are also able to undertake Annual Servicing of Biomass Products, so if you have a requirement then please call and advise your make and model so we can offer a competitive cost.

Shelford Heating can design, supply and install your complete bathroom and will manage all the tradesman to ensure a smooth transition from old to new. We employ all our own Plumbers and Heating engineers and when needed utilise resources from a bank of highly skilled and professional contractors many whom have worked for many years with us such as Tilers and Carpenters, Flooring Specialists, Electricians (when our own is too busy) minor building works is also catered for. Bathrooms of today come in various designs, whether you require Minimalist and Modern, or Traditional and Distinctive - All Bathrooms that we Install will have that Wow Factor and give you many years of Satisfaction and Pleasure when in use - but above all at an affordable price.

Boilerwise is Designed for Oil Fired Boilers and is a total maintenance agreement that can be purchased not only to provide an Annual Boiler Service but also costs associated with Breakdown Visits based on the Level of cover. Bronze, Bronze Plus, Silver, Silver Plus, Gold and Gold Plus that are also categorized into the types of Boilers. Bronze Agreement is a Labour only agreement and will cover the Annual Service followed by Repairs (labour) up to 250.00 annually and payments start at 165.00 per year.

David role is to oversee the Day to Day activities of the Business, provide a Technical backup to the Staff and Technicians, experience and certification has been gained in Oil, Gas, LPG, Solar and Heat pump design and installation as well as extensive knowledge within the Home Heating market. Davids Experience spans over 38 years within the industry, having spent the last 30+ years within Senior Management 18 of which has been with Shelford Heating, and instrumental in Creating a one stop Heating Company with the emphasis placed upon Reducing Carbon Emissions and Improving Energy Savings in the Home.

We have undertaken Training and are Qualified to Install, Service and Maintain Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems and can fully comply with Building Regulations Part G3. We Can also Design, Specify and Install Bespoke Thermal storage Hot water systems that can be heated by Oil and Gas Boilers, Solar Thermal, Air source Heat pumps, Wood and Pellet Boilers. Shelford Heating can Design, Supply, Install, Commission and Certify your new Oil Storage Tank to current Building regulations Part J. We can Install both Metal and Plastic Bunded Oil storage Tanks, Including safe transfer of your existing oil tank to new, including safe disposal of your existing tank.
