They wanted to replace this with a new block paving driveway with central featuring comprising of squares and the house number - 1D. Our first task was to remove the old driveway and prepare a new hardcore sub-base to allow for the installation of block pavers and new tarmac to the entrance lane. Once we had excavated to a suitable depth for the new hardcore, we laid a heavy duty membrane and type one hardcore to give a solid base.
