After qualifying as an Architect, and practising as such for 6 years, Katherine undertook 2 years of Horticultural Training with the RHS before establishing KDGD in 2011. Her combined training and experience has allowed her to blend an extensive theoretical and practical Plant and Gardening knowledge into a strong Design centred Professional background. She strives to create gardens which work seamlessly with your home, extending your living space both visually and physically, using plants to create and identify beautiful and usable outdoor 'spaces'.
It's been a long time since I posted on here - just letting everyone know that I am very much still carrying out Garden Design work across North Yorkshire, and also Architectural work with our practice Merrell O'Flaherty Dormer Architects in Harrogate. Lovely signs of Spring today - hellebores, aconites, snowdrops and warmth in the sun - makes you think ahead to warm summer days relaxing in the garden.
