AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Do yourself a favour and shop somewhere else. I bought an external light from them, waited 4 weeks with me always chasing them, never any correspondence from them. Some story to fob me off everytime I phoned. Eventually cancelled the order and bought it from www.lights2go.co.uk at a lower cost and it was delivered within 4 days. I was then fobbed off several times when trying to get a refund and had to threaten to come into the shop personally with my card to get a refund before they finally processed it. Utterly rubbish company.

Today I have tried to find some spot light bulbs with no avail, went to Sherwood Lighting (mansfield Road) great shop with proper customer service, the lovely lady even phoned the valve shop to see if they could help me with the replacement bulbs and they were in stock, so a big thank you for your kindness and help.

I too have had an AWFUL experience with Sherwood. Do not purchase from this company. I paid £401.24 for two pendant lights in November. They arrived damaged and terrible quality. What was sold as a"brass effect" ceiling pendant was in fact reinforced cardboard spray painted and costing £401.24 for two!!!. When I sent Sherwood photos of the damaged torn cardboard they advised me to return the lights which I did using their preferred carrier service UPS. I received confirmation from UPS that these returns were received by Sherwood Lighting on the 20th Nov. I've been chasing them for my refund since. They are ignoring all my calls and emails. I've now had to report them to Paypal resolution centre!! Awful awful customer service.
If this would have had ZERO stars. oh gosh, this was the worst experience I have ever had in my life! do not use sheerwood lighting. I have purchased a lamp, they've taken my money and never got back to me, never heard from them even though I have emailed on multiple occasions - money taken off my bank account and never received the lamp either.
Fantastic, helpful service. We travelled 60 miles to visit the showroom, really worth the visit. The staff were friendly and helpful. We bought 5 ceiling light fittings, and they did us a deal on the multi purchase. Some lights weren't in stock so all are being sent by courier in a few days time, free of charge. I would certainly visit again when I need lighting.
