Since 1984, working with architects and private clients, John Weaver has honed his Arts and Crafts principles with attention to detail; a belief in the most appropriate use of space and sustainable materials; a tuned sense of proportion and rhythm and combined these with his fine craftmanship to make ideas work.
John Weaver, with fellow friends and furniture-makers established Scott Workshops, in Brighton, over 25 years ago. In 2017 Scott Workshops Ltd acquired the freehold of a 10,000ft mid century premises in Newhaven, along the coast. This now offers a fully equipped workshop and benchspace to many Brighton furniture makers. Collaborating with these makers, John Weaver Ltd offers custom-made furniture and architectural joinery to both its commercial and private clients. Bespoke kitchens and bedroom storage are the mainstay of Johns' private work.
