A comprehensive service from site surveys and sketch ideas to detailed landscape designs. We can also deal with planning applications, prepare tenders for contracts and offer project supervision services and aftercare. Your garden is a very personal place, a place which evolves over time, and we can help this to become an outdoor, living extension to your home with a wealth of experience to help us design the perfect outdoor area for you.
We create places where people can live, work, play and relax, as well environments in which plants and animals can thrive. We study, plan, design and manage spaces to ensure that they are both sustainable and beautiful. As Chartered Landscape Architects we provide a complete range of services from initial site surveys to concept ideas and project planning to contract administration and aftercare. Our green credentials are at the very heart of everything we do. We produce sustainable landscape design solutions to benefit the environment and the way we live to suit every budget.
We offer an expert service, from concept designs to completion and aftercare including advice on erosion control measures, drainage & discharge consents and projected water capacity survey data. We provide expert advice on sustainable flood alleviation measures and produce landscape management plans for water catchment and flood risk areas. We also carry out soil percolation and water quality tests and offer accredited laboratory analysis for water and soil samples. Reed bed systems have the advantages of low capital outlay costs, very low running costs with low maintenance and ongoing costs.
Are you dreaming of a new garden or outdoor area, or perhaps require a garden makeover for an established garden? A garden evolves over time, plants grow and features can be added or removed to suit. The design process usually requires both thought and patience to see it come to fruition. We sometimes call this Slow Design, from the global slow movement, to focus on an expanded state of awareness. We often keep in touch with our clients for several years while their garden grows with them. So, whilst we can give you the garden of your dreams it may take a little while to achieve it!
The LVIA process is all-encompassing on the area surrounding the development although it looks primarily at how people's views may be affected by a proposal. As chartered landscape architects we produce expert LVIA reports to current guidelines for proposed developments in sensitive locations. These include residential housing and commercial developments, sports stadiums, the re-use of redundant agricultural and/or listed buildings and for clean, green renewable energy projects, including those for wind and solar power.
