We design systems for water supply and irrigation in remote areas where no reliable electricity supply is available. Our system consists of submersible water pumps that are powered by solar panels to pump water for irrigation or domestic use. We build effective small power generation plants for rural and marginalized areas using an array of panels grouped together then distributing the generated power to homes and businesses. Our solution is very reliable, independent and cost effective with low operation and maintenance costs.
SECCCO was established in 2008 with the mission of bringing clean, low-cost and sustainable renewable energy solutions to Somalia. In the 8 years of operation, our work has created tangible social and economic impact and improved the lives of thousands of Somalia people through energy solutions installed in households, businesses, health centers, hospitals, schools, community centers and to light the streets of Somali towns. Our company's vision is a Somali with access to reliable, affordable, healthy, and environmentally friendly renewable energy.
We have installed thousands of solar street lighting in Garowe, Bosaso, Qardho, Galkacyo and Badhan in the last 4 years, and have partnership with leading manufacturers and suppliers of solar street lighting to provide lasting solutions and maintenance.
