This bench is hand crafted and assembled in such a way to extenuate the natural beauty of our sustainably sourced English Oak. We have made natural edge on all 4 sides, by utilising the traditional mortice and tenoned End Cap which in turn provides fantastic stability an. An exquisite banquet-sized dining table & benches (seats 16), inspired by the flow of our neighbouring River Severn. The elegance of the natural edges & beautifully figured Cedar of Lebanon is contrasted with oversized Dovetail jointed legs and feature Butterfly key benches, inset with river glass - a piece to stand the test of time. This piece was inspired by a local tree here in Gloucestershire, which was planted circa 1860 and felled in 2006. As our workshop is located by the mighty River Severn, we shaped the table in line with the flowing contours of the inset river glass.

Our Gloucestershire workshop uses only sustainably sourced English hardwoods, including from our own Devonshire woodland.

Our workshop prides itself on only using sustainably sourced English hardwoods - from our own Devonshire woodland & local stock - which we fashion into beautiful designs using traditional woodworking know-how.

This highly ingenious & functional design works especially well for al fresco dining in the garden, on patios or terrace areas, for weddings and birthday parties, and in the hospitality sector. The stools are ergonomically designed to be used whilst sitting at the table. They have fabricated metal rings as foot rests and hand turned oak bosses under thick, soft, very comfortable 15 diameter stool toppers. The table is finished with a liquid glass epoxy to give it a perfectly flat level surface. Should you be using this outdoors, we recommend a further coat with UV protective lacquer (which we can accommodate).
