Vertical Sliding Sash Windows are a fantastic addition to any home as they add individuality and character, both to older and modern properties. Especially in regency towns like Cheltenham & Malvern, sliding sash windows are very common and can be seen throughout. However, conventional wood sash windows are energy inefficient, and have poor noise insulation. This can cause issues where you want the warmth and acoustic properties of a modern upvc, but still want to maintain the classic look of your home.
Aluminium has seen a massive revival in the last few years, as thermal performance has improved, and the durability benefits of aluminium. We have two aluminium systems we use currently - both providing some of the most advanced aluminium products on the market. Origin are famous for their market-leading Bifolding doors, and have entered the market with the first dual-flush aluminium window. The frames perfectly compliment their doors, and with their aerogel technology can rival the thermal performance of triple glazed windows with standard 28mm double glazing.
Our composite doors offer the appearance of hardwood, including a natural carved appearance, but are constructed from GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) - bringing all the advantages of warmth, stability and security. Our Composite Doors have clear advantages over both conventional hardwood doors & other Composite Door manufacturers. Our Fibreglass door panels won't dent, rust or rot. In addition to the the standard 7 colours, we also can provide our doors in ANY RAL colour you require. Unlike other window companies, we provide fully transparent pricing on all of our products, no personal details required.
Our residential doors are popular for side or rear doors - where you don't require the decorative elements of our PVC panel doors but still wish for a high security, energy efficient door. All of our doors can be hinged either inwards or outwards and there is a choice of styles to suit your home. We have 4 hinges as standard to all our doors - ensuring reliability for years to come. We also supply decorative door panels - perfect for Front doors. Marine Plywood reinforcing ensures you get both an visually appealing door with no sacrifice in security.
Adding a roof lantern to your new flat roof extension can bring all the benefits of a conservatory - with plenty of natural light to illuminate your room - but still keeping the energy efficiency of your standard roof. Our Aluminium roof lantern manages to tick every box required - it's slim, 40mm frame means you get the maximum light available, and keeps the roof looking proportional. It also boast's a thermally broken section - meaning U-values of 0.9W/m2k are available, and even a triple glazed option which can achieve 0.6W/m2K.
A conservatory is one of the easiest and most enjoyable ways of extending your living space. Tradeframe.com's conservatories are constructed from the same robust PVCu profiles as our windows and doors, specially selected not to peel, crack or warp, and so maintain your homes appearance, warmth and security for years to come. We have a choice of styles and sizes to suit every home, and every budget. We use highly thermally efficient glass in our roofs with a very low "U" value of 1.2 that exceeds building regulations.
Your home is your refuge, and your windows are not only key to your home's appearance, they are also crucial to your warmth and security. Double Glazing is the only modern solution. Our windows, doors and conservatories are constructed from compact framed extrusions, which are designed to mirror the slim appearance of their traditional counterparts. The PVCu we use is designed to maintain its appearance in any weather (WHS Halo System 10 & Rustique). Our windows offer enhanced noise reduction and a low "U" value that far exceeds building regulations.
Our standard residential doors and decorative panelled doors are manufactured from High Quality PVC and Toughened A-Rated Glass, offering outstanding appearance and durability as well as security, noise reduction and warmth. We can provide instant online quoting on all of our doors. Our composite doors offer the appearance of hardwood, including a natural carved appearance, but are constructed from GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) - bringing all the advantages of warmth, stability and security. We also manufacture and fit Patio and French Doors.
An orangery is a traditional atrium style conservatory - characterised by it's brick or timber pillars, high ceilings and a central rooflight. Falling somewhere between a conservatory and a full extension, orangeries offer more privacy than a conservatory but still allow the light to flood in and illuminate the adjacent rooms. With our Livinroom system, this can be erected quickly and still fall under permitted development without planning required. Livinroom incorporates an aluminium pelmet which can then be plastered - allowing lighting to be fitted and to create a more room-like space, and compared to a tradional flatroof and roof lantern design is much more cost effective.
Bifolding doors are steadily becoming more and more popular in the UK, as homeowners get more creative with their home improvement projects. For a long time, aluminium Bifolding doors were the only viable option, with uPVC Systems suffering from poor operation. The leading bifolding manufacturer in the UK, an Origin Door is a completely bespoke product, tailored to your size, colour scheme, finish and accessory requirements. Coupled with a 20 year guarantee, this is a door to truly stand the test of time.
Triple glazing is the newest product in the Tradeframe range. 28mm triple glazing has been around for years, but with only two 8mm air gaps, it wasn't efficient enough to justify the added cost. Our triple glazing is 40mm thick, with two 14mm air gaps to provide superior thermal performance. This is accomplished using our standard 70mm profile. We also fit our heavy duty fire hinges as standard & use extra reinforcing where required to allow for the extra weight. Other window companies have to use frames that can be over 100mm thick, which means re-plastering and extra fitting work.
Patio doors allow you an external opening without sacrificing any external or internal area for opening. Also for their aperture size they have the largest amount of glass - allowing plenty of light into your property. The alternative to a sliding patio door is a french door. A french door provides a full opening (up to 2000mm) and really lets the outside in, perfect for patio's or conservatories. Our french door uses the same shootbolt locking as our residential doors, and also encompasses two locks & handles as standard, giving you full flexibility.
This is due to having distinct advantages over traditional sash windows. The open out hinge construction means you can open the window fully. Also the hinging allows for the window sash to act like a scoop; so on a warm day if the breeze is at an acute angle to your home, you can still draw a breeze through your property. Another advantage is the increased security of casement window. The security hooks and compression rollers are something not found on traditional windows, because they would not be able to work as the sash has to slide.
