Our subsidiary company, Colchester Rewinds Plant & Engineering Ltd has a large independent engineering workshop for all your fabrication and machining requirements. In addition skilled engineers and electricians can be sent to site to assist with electrical or mechanical breakdowns. We were initially contacted by a regular customer who had a problem with their mixer on site. Upon inspection it soon became clear that the shaft was extensively damaged and beyond repair.
Our fully skilled coded welder has over 10 years' experience using the latest techniques to the highest level of quality. Coded in MMA (Manual Metal Arc) welding processes in stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel. We have high standards in our welding techniques, cleaning and finishing. Finishes include painted, galvanised and primed to a very high quality standard to achieve the best finish. We are able to repair and make repairs to aluminium fuel tanks, pipework and stainless steel fabrication along with many more.
We can repair most mechanical and electrical equipment with the support of our fabrication and machining departments. This extends to obsolete equipment beyond repair. We have a range of sheet metal rollers which we use to produce curved sheet metal from a few millimeters wide up to 1900mm wide. The standard rollers can be set to produce very tight curves, to form tubes or open out to very slight rads.
