Each tree tells its own story. At Touchwood Crafts we believe in telling that story through unique, beautiful and bespoke furniture. Every piece is handmade by Charles using traditional and sustainable methods, created with a love for the product and process. A great way to spend a time getting back to nature. During your time with us in our Oxfordshire workshop, you will learn about the history and craft of traditional work, and create something special to take home, use and be proud of. Charles Ash with a background in many forms of woodwork, uses his years of knowledge to make his furniture using traditional skills to both keep them alive and maintain an ecologically sounds business.

Charles' greenwood workshops are a great way to get back to nature. During your time with Charles in his Oxfordshire workshop, you will learn about the history of the craft, and create something special to take home, use and be proud of. The day included great instruction on selecting the wood, preparing it and then working it on the lathe - and whole thing was enjoyable and informative. Charles is a first class instructor and a very patient man - his teaching was excellent. All in all it was a great day and I learnt a lot.
