Roller blinds are a simple way of dressing and come in over 500 shades and designs of fabrics. The are many different fabric options for roller blinds, including plain, patterned, children's and black-out. The bottom bar can also come with a straight or scalloped edge, depending on the look and amount of privacy you require. At the top, you can finish with a head rail in the same or contrasting fabric. For child safety, a breakaway chain is available in a plastic or metal. If it's complete darkness you require, we supply a blind encased in a cassette within the frame of the window, eliminating all light leakage.

Roman blinds are a softer, less fussy means of dressing a window. Ideal in bedrooms and living rooms but can be used in any room. We have hundreds of beautiful fabrics in a mix of plains, textures and prints to suit any colour or design. Additionally, if you have your own fabric that you would love to be made into a roman blind, give us a ring and we will see if that is possible for you. We also have hundreds of curtain fabrics, in a range of designs that can be customised to fit your window exactly and suit any room.

We supply two types of 'Vision-type' roller blinds which combine sheer and opaque fabrics in one blind. These enable enhanced light control whilst retaining privacy and provides an interesting and eye-catching effect to any room.

We have a range of motorised blinds that come with a slim remote control. With the possibility of operating up to 6 blinds at any one time, the remote control enables complete light control from a distance and is an ideal safe option for children's bedrooms as there are no cords involved, they are also pet-safe! It is now also possible to operate several blinds from a smart phone with the right technology. If you are responsible for dressing windows in large public spaces, remote-controlled motorised blinds offer a solution as you can operate them from a distance.

Enabling maximum light control, our Venetian blinds can be tilted 180 degrees. They are supplied in both metal and wood. Metal is available in gloss, matte, embossed in silver or metallic, or in an aluminium wood - which is a wood photo effect onto metal. Our lightweight yet ultra-stable Wooden Venetians offer a robust blind solution due to their layered wood structure. This helps to prevent bowing and is ideal for withstanding different temperatures. The slats are available in 4 sizes, depending on the amount of shade you require or the size of the window.

At Andr's Blinds and Signs, we follow the BBSA guidelines on child safety for blinds at home or in public buildings. If you have an environment where children under the age of 42 months are present or likely to have access you must install blinds which are compliant with child safety requirements BS EN 13120:2009+A1:2014. Every blind style can now be made cordless, from gear operated with a crank handle (ideal for schools), to wand operation, hand operation and motorised.

Available in a range of coordinating fabrics, these sophisticated blinds offer a neat, slim and unobtrusive solution to any room in your home. These high-quality blinds are made of robust fabrics which spring back into shape easily if knocked. Fabrics include simple weave, textured, crushed and come in plain or patterned designs. Some also have special properties including a solar control for heat loss and UV protection, fire retardant, anti-static and moisture resistant. Offering a modern and innovative option, some of our pleated blinds can also come in Intu and Perfect Fit, depending on the fabric.

A luxurious alternative to traditional blinds, shutters are both traditional and contemporary, versatile and timeless. All our shutters are bespoke to fit perfectly and with a choice of colours available - including several shades of white, varying slat sizes and a choice of operating modes - your dream shutters are within reach. With many years of experience in shutter fitting, our team can provide expert advice on the design, type or product and the fitting of your shutters. Experience is essential in shutter fitting as is a great deal of skill!

Our most popular type of blind, vertical blinds is no longer confined to just offices and studies. These blinds can suit every type of window, be it large or small or unusual. The louvres or slats either come in 89mm or 127mm widths, depending on how much shade you require and can be drawn to the left, right or split in the middle. We have hundreds of fabrics for you to choose, from plain to black-out or patterned prints. You can even mix and match plain and patterned to create a striking effect.
