Bridgend Garden Centre was established in 1986 by George McKinlay. It started in a small unit adjacent to the current site with a greenhouse and a passion to provide strong, healthy, quality plants to gardener's and give expert advice. The following year when George's daughter Caroline turned 16 she began working with him. Therefore, it wasn't long before the humble beginnings grew into the vast site which is now Bridgend Garden Centre. The McKinlay's continue to operate as a family business. As a result, today, Caroline's daughter Ruth is following in her footsteps and has now joined the business.
Had a lovely lunch today Soup Combo which was first class. All staff are very nice and friendly. Definitely would recommend and we will definitely be back again very soon.
I love this place for both my garden needs and the incredible bakery. They occasionally have a lemon cheese cake that is The. Best. Ever.
Great place, very helpful staff. If you can't find the plant you're looking for, someone will. The Gardeners Rest is a great place for a snack at fab prices or even a meal.

Good evening everyone what a brilliant day it was, sun was shining, long may this last. As it's abit like deja-vu I have made another new category where all the plants will go for quickness. It will be called Covid19 Part Two. So far in there are the spring bedding plants that are available right.
