Englefield Garden Centre is managed by Affinity Trust which is a charitable organisation and limited company that champions the support of adults with learning disabilities based around the needs of the individual. Affinity Trust offers work opportunities at Englefield Garden Centre to the people it supports which can enable them to fulfil their potential through workplace opportunities. With the help of our dedicated team of people with learning disabilities, we grow over 100,000 plants every year at the garden centre.

With knowledgeable, friendly staff on hand for advice and help our gardening department is in many ways along with our plantaria the heart and soul of Englefield Garden Centre. As you wander through the Garden Centre, past the houseplants and wild bird care, you will come to the gift area, which is filled with carefully chosen ceramic mugs and teapots, jigsaws and so many other fabulous things that we hardly know where to start!

We are so confident in the quality of all of our hardy plants that we offer a 3-year guarantee. Please keep your till receipt as proof of purchase and we will be happy to replace any hardy plant that fails in the next three years. All you have to do is bring in the plant and the original till receipt, and we will do the rest. Our guarantee, which is in addition to your statutory rights, defines "hardy plants" as including roses, herbaceous perennials, alpines, fruit, conifers, heathers, rhododendrons, azaleas, trees and shrubs that are able to withstand the average Berkshire winter weather conditions.

Englefield Garden Centre is set within an old Victorian walled garden in the beautiful village of Englefield. With a stunning back-drop of Englefield House and St Marks Church, the Garden Centre offers an opportunity to 'get away from it all',. If you are looking for a working nursery, that grows most of the plants that it sells, which has wonderful gift ideas to inspire, then Englefield Garden Centre is for you. Although our key focus is the quality of our plants, there are many other attractions within the garden centre itself and the surrounding village.

Are you looking to offer a new challenge to a person you support? Englefield Garden Centre can provide a safe and relaxing environment for the person supported to socially engage with other adults with similar needs. We co-ordinate and run a horticultural workshop which we can adapt to fit the needs of the individual, sessions cost just 11.90 an hour with our trained staff team, we use the workshop to bring positive change to people we support with the opportunity in also growing their confidence.
