Our association with Electric fencing began in the early 1980's covering Central Africa where we used electric fencing to assist farmers, wildlife conservationists and entrepreneurs to control the African wildlife. This involved a huge range of animals from Elephant down to the common rabbit. One particularly satisfying project was assisting to secure the safety of the declining Black Rhino population in Wildlife conservancies. Re-located to the UK in 2000 and after gaining experience in UK conditions with Horizont, began trading in 2006.
You may think that all Electric Fence insulators are the same. Quality will greatly affect the reliability and effectiveness of your fence. There are many types available for all kinds of rope, wire or tape. We only sell electric fence insulators that have premium insulation quality in excess of 20000 volts to ensure YOUR electric fence is effective. Our solid, plastic electric fence insulators are designed to handle and prevent tracking of at least 22000volts. They are specifically designed to efficiently drain rain water away to prevent tracking in wet weather.
