The first thing we do is survey your property to find out whether your roof is suitable for a solar power (Solar PV) system. We take into account the direction it points, how much shade affects it (if any), what your roof is made of and whether it can support the weight of the solar panels, whether your home is listed or in a conservation area and so on. If your roof seems suitable for Solar PV, we'll conduct a full computer-assisted survey that will show you how much power a Solar PV system will produce on your roof-based on the type of solar panels you buy (some solar panels are more efficient than others), the number of panels you install, the orientation of your roof and the sunshine records for your area.

For farms, a Solarbarn PV system is a superb way to generate extra income, for schools it's the perfect way to get free daytime electricity and for factories it can generate substantial net profit-up to twice your initial investment. As the cost of electricity continues to rocket, more and more local commercial enterprises are turning to solar power to provide their electricity, generate income from the Government's Feed-in Tariff and, of course, cement their 'green' credentials. Increasingly, however, businesses are looking at Solar PV as a source of additional profit in itself.
