Low Energy Designs are a leading LED lighting manufacturer based in the UK who offer technically advanced, effective and energy efficient products and are well placed at the forefront of alternative power and energy saving solutions. Our low energy lighting solutions and LED lighting products use the highest specification LEDs available in the current market. The rise of renewable energy generation has created an increasing demand for efficient ways to store surplus energy. As centralised generation is increasingly supplemented or even replaced by distributed generating centres, the need for local storage and distribution will continue to increase.

Low Energy Designs Ltd was founded and began trading in 2007. The company was originally formed by the directors of Cobracomms Ltd and Barnett Engineering Ltd. These two engineering companies had worked together for a number of years delivering mobile telecommunication and power solutions to the developing cellular markets of the world. In early 2007, the companies were challenged by an existing client located in rural Africa to provide security lighting for the perimeter fences of his remotely located cell sites which had a primary power source of 48 Volts DC.

A range of our LED panels and downlights have the ability to change colour temperature from 3000 to 5300 Kelvin's via a simple wall switch or hand remote. Colour temperature change helps create a unique display which is essential to delivering a memorable retail experience.
