We specialise in the design, supply and installation of underfloor heating solutions to our large portfolio of clients from Mechanical Engineers, local authorities, developers, builders and homeowners. An upstairs office, 4 people and 1 van.that was us back in 2004. A small, relatively unknown underfloor heating company based on the South Coast of England. We identified a gap in the market for a 360° service by designing, supplying and installing underfloor heating systems into residential and commercial properties and we continue to turn up the heat in the industry ever since. Fast forward 16 years and we're now proud award winners, having grown significantly from the 4-person team we once were to new, larger premises with a 50 strong crew to support you through every single step of your underfloor heating project.

Electric underfloor heating is often the go-to system for smaller spaces due to its ease of installation and ultra-thin build-up, which means you don't need to worry about floor levels. At UFHN, our electric systems provide a complete solution for extensions, kitchens, bathrooms and new builds and can be installed up to 120w/m2 on flammable material and electric mats and 200w/m2 on concrete. We also offer a range of in-screed cable systems. The outputs can be tailored to suit whole-house heating and new build developments, giving up to 100w/m2 of heat output.

UFHN are specialists in the integration of renewable heating technology with underfloor heating. Our partner programme provides a turnkey solution for whole-house design, supply and commissioning. With the push towards renewable energy sources, heat pumps have become an efficient alternative to traditional gas boiler systems to significantly reduce utility bills, or even make money through the renewable heat incentive (RHI). Typically used with boilers, warm water underfloor heating systems offer a versatile option for the majority of constructions, in combination with existing heating systems. Alternatively, and thanks to eco-friendly incentives, we're seeing more systems connected to renewable energy such as solar water heating systems and air or ground source heat pumps in a drive towards the government's goal of net-zero heating within the next 10 years.
