In addition to Automated Gates, Frontline Automation offer Roller Shutter Doors for a number of applications. We can provide a shutter to suit all requirements, from a small shop front window to deter vandalism right up to a large supermarket distribution warehouse allowing lorry access/egress. We supply a range of concave or flat interlocking sections provided with a number of perforations, aperture designs or a combination of both. The finish of the door will be either steel or aluminium. Depending on appplication, finished can be selected from any BS 4800/RAL colour, either powder coated or Syntha Pulvin or the HP200 Plastisol British Steel ranged colours.

Intercoms are the most popular form of access control for residential automated gate systems. Having an intercom at the boundary to your property means visitors can make themselves known to you, without intrusive face to face contact at the front door, and without them having access to your property. Intercoms come in an almost endless array of shapes and sizes and with a huge range of different functions, including audio only systems and also video entry systems which allow you to see the person calling before you decide whether or not to allow them access.

Sliding Gates are particuarly popular with customers where there is restricted driveway space for swing gates to open into, and also where the driveway is on a upward slope, meaning swing gates would be unable to open into the property without first hitting the ground. Sliding Gates also generally offer a higher level of security to swing gates as they cannot be 'rammed' open. With a sliding gate, no unnecessary space is taken up and cars can park right up to the gate, even when closed. We can manufacture matching pedestrian gates for all of our designs, meaning pedestrians can enter/exit your property safely without the need to operate the full system each time.

As with all of our Automated Gates, there are a number of safety considerations which have to be included in the system. There are also a number of options available to you with regards to the ease of use/access, such as roadway detection loops, intercoms and transmitters to name just a few. Our Cantilever gates have always been popular with our commercial clients where we have built a strong reputation for the design, manufacture and longevity of our heavy duty security gates. In recent years, they have also become increasingly popular within the residential market.

Swing gates are extremely popular with our residential customers, and in the case of automated swing gates, these can be powered either by gate back operators, fitted to the rear of the gate leaf, or underground drives located within the foundation area of the gate, with just a steel cover plate on display. Once the automation has been activated and the gates have opened, they will remain open for a preset time (usually variable between 0-120 seconds) before closing automatically, providing that all safety devices have been cleared.

As an alternative to our extremely popular Cantilever Gates, Frontline Automation also offer Swing Gates to provide a high degree of security to all commercial premises. Swing Gates can be provided as either manual or fully automated. We fully design and manufacture all Steel Swing Gates in-house, meaning we can produce both traditional and contemporary designs to match the specific requirements of your site. There are a wide range of both hydraulic and electro-mechanical operators and associated controls available which ensures we can always come up with the perfect solution to meet your particular need.
