Projects ranging in size from just a few sections to thousands of tonnes are designed and produced at our East Yorkshire manufacturing facility and delivered throughout the UK. Sections up to a massive 9 metres in length can be laser profiled and pressed utilising some of the best machinery under one roof. BW Industries recognises the importance of excellent occupational health and safety standards within the company, to protect its workers, visitors and subcontractors. We have implemented an occupational health and safety management system that complies with BS OHSAS 18001. BW Industries have developed design software based on the methodology in the relevant European standards and through extensive testing of their product range. This information has been independently assessed and approved by the Steel Construction Institute who are an internationally recognised authority in the field of light gauge steelwork design and construction.

Our Building Wizard design software is considered to be the most comprehensive easy to use purlin design tool available. It is fully compliant with current Eurocode design standards, including the UK and Ireland. The design of this software ensures ease of use whilst giving the maximum benefit from our exhaustive, full scale testing, analysis and calculation by our in-house Chartered Engineer, and the Steel Construction Institute. It is designed to specify our range of Zed and Cee section Purlins, Side Rails, Eaves Beams and Mezzanine Floor Primary and Secondary Beams.

BW Industries is a privately owned company and has been manufacturing steel products and building components since it was founded in 1974. The company started out manufacturing and supplying Graindryers to the agricultural sector from the original site in Cranswick, East Yorkshire. With a dedicated team, BW soon expanded and branched out into different sectors, producing and selling Cladding, Grainwalling, and Cold Rolled Steel.
