Ashwin Studio

I created Ashwinstudio initially as name for my art studio and in memory of my great grandfather, Kenneth Baldwin-Smith, who named his studio Kenwinstudio. However, the name Ashwinstudio has taken on life of its own and is now also a label or trade name to create and promote the sculptural furniture under. Ashwinstudio offers a range of reclaimed furniture from tables and stools created from engine parts to organic chairs made from metal tubing or coffee tables made from steel girders. As with the majority of my sculpture, our furniture is created largely from reclaimed and recycled materials and objects.

A range of furniture created from found objects, recycled engine parts and scrap metal, reclaimed timber and glass. Much of the furniture is available by request in, lacquered, chromed or powder coated finish and we can arrange the paint colour of your choice. In addition, for glass topped tables and coffee tables we can either supply reclaimed toughened glass or have it prepared to your requirements. However, the price difference can be considerable - depending on colour and thickness. Listen to the advice of others, but follow only what you understand and can unite in your own feeling.
