At Farrar Joinery Manufacturers we are aware that in a world where natural resources are constantly threatened we are actively aware of the need to respect timber sources so where ever possible we wish to play our part by offering timber from sustainable resources such as PEFC (Promotion of the Endorsement of Forest Certification) and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) approved suppliers ensuring that forests are managed and appropriate re-planting is in place.

Benefiting from 58mm Door Sashes (as opposed to the standard 44mm), our wooden French door system incorporates 24mm double glazed units or solid timber panels. This additional thickness allows for improved locking systems, drainage and stability.

Our range of wooden bi-folding doors has been developed to meet our "durability by design" standard selecting durable timber species and ironmongery with profiles designed and assembled to allow drainage and ventilation. Our stormproof wooden window range has been developed as a truly versatile window that can easily be adapted into many differing building types and weather extremes. Stormproof wooden windows are supplied with ovolo edged sashes (except where decorative horns are required) and ovolo beads as standard.

All we need is a sample of the decorative wooden moulding you are trying to copy and we'll machine it up to the exact specification, from a 1 metre length to a full pallet. We manufacture our products at our workshop and can match wood colours and types where required.

Our range of wooden sash windows are manufactured to replicate a traditional design. Utilising parting and staff beads with integrated weather seals our windows are fully draught-proof and have been brought into the 21st century.
