Onsite Driveways offer resin drives in a variety of colours suitable for paths and drives. Resin based drives fix together small stones with high-tech resin to form a firm, attractive surface. It creates many small gaps that allow water to drain through into the ground. When rainwater falls on a paved surface, it needs to drain away. Conventional solid surfaces are impermeable: water flows across the surface or forms pools, adding to flood risk whilst gravel drives are permeable but gravel moves and can become rutted.
A tarmac driveway from Onsite Driveways certainly has a lot of benefits. Tarmac is very cost effective and we won't need to spend half as much time on the general construction. This is great if you're on a low budget and you will also find that it causes less disruption to your home during the initial construction. The main benefit of tarmac is that it is a very sustainable option. Compared to paving stones or bricks that can raise up, the pointing can become loose or they can crack and this is very unsightly.

Block paving requires annual maintenance, we recommend spraying with a weedkiller once a year in Spring and the joints can be cleaned with a metal brush or jet washed on an annual basis. Over time the sand in the joints will need replacing, but this is a simple job of brushing in new sand. We offer maintenance contracts for cleaning if required. Block paving has been THE standard over the last 30 years.
