Windows & Doors come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Not only do you have to choose the glazing of the glass, the material and any other design features, you will need to consider the type of window opening that best suits you. Casement windows are a popular choice and feature a window made up of one or more opening casements, hinged along one side. They can open inwards or outwards. Inward-opening side-hung windows open inwards into the room and can therefore be cleaned much more easily and safely.

We created a new exit at this bungalow with this new side door. Originally there was a cupboard being the wall; now they have a new room. Lots of care needed to ensure that the brickwork blends into the existing brickwork but we also needed to address the drop to the ground. The solution was steps designed to suit and they are perfect. We also fitted french doors with side panels at the same property (matched brickwork again) which is undergoing a full refurb for its new owners. We fitted specialist insulation to this build and the final project met their exacting needs. Our client wanted to work from home but as he would be receiving visitors; he needed a somewhat formal space.

Blockwork paving is certainly one of the most attractive types of paved surfaces, with interesting patterns and designs and as well as it being able to fit and mould around existing corners, features and pathways. Whatever drainage you currently have, we can assess to make sure this is up to standard and if not we can make sure this is taken care of. We can make sure you have no standing water or other drainage problems that can be associated with hard landscaping. Block work can be used not only on drives, but also for pathways and path details, and can also be used for disabled access.

Paving comes in all shapes and sizes and is not just for driveways. Our client felt that the decking was making her garden look dated but new turfing and the right choice of paving slabs and blocks have provided her with a perfect entertaining space. Our client felt that they were not utilising their garden space to its best effect. In a tightly planned project, we removed an exisiting shed and extended the concrete base before starting to assemble the sectional buildings. Once assembled, it was then weatherproofed and provided with an electricity supply.
