Feix&Merlin Architects is a creative design studio, co-founded by Julia Feix & Tarek Merlin in 2006, working across the fields of architecture and interior design. We design buildings from the inside out, rather than from the outside in, because these are the bits of the building that you use everyday. We are interested in people's lives and experiences and how, together, we can make them better. Door#23 Summary CGIs; We're nearly at the end of the Walworth Town Hall Advent Calendar so we thought we'd take a look back at all the new CGIs of the scheme by Darcstudio. They really bring the proposals to life adding a new depth to the vision.
Door#22 Summary Look&Feel; a light touch refurbishment celebrating the rich layers of history in the building and existing character of the spaces, materials, and heritage features including tiled finishes; timber flooring, ornate cornices and columns; fireplaces and windows.
Door#21 External Courtyard & Terrace. Proposals include 2 new lifts that link the buildings together and improve overall accessibility, a new terrace and courtyard with glazed white bricks and London stock brick, colourful patterned tiles, weathered timber canopy and green walls
Door#20 Workspaces, designed for small to medium-sized enterprises and local businesses, are expected to bring over 370 jobs into the building, producing a new employment hub for the creative industries and local business. A mix of studio workspaces and co-working for SMEs.
