Security of our Client's Sheltered Housing sites was of increasing concern when we were commissioned to undertake a feasibility study looking at all their sites across the region. Following the successful conclusion of the report the project developed into a series of several contracts phased over a number of financial years. Each project looked at a site in isolation and developed a new security and access strategy ofr the buildings. Generally the works included the repalcement of all external doors, (windows were replaced under a seaprate programme), the provision of a new access control system to all entrance doors with individual video control from individual flats.
