Roof Profiles was founded in 1982 to offer faster turnaround times, higher quality finishes and more prefab roof parts than the market leaders. By carrying out more work in the factory that is normally done on site by joiners, usually at height in dangerous conditions, like cutting skew clips, Roof Profiles became a favoured supplier to the West of Scotland's house building industry. After four years the team moved to bigger premises to accommodate the growing business, and five years after that they expanded again, taking on a large building yard for their now substantial ‘supply and erect' business.
Roof Profiles Scotland designs, manufactures and installs timber frame house extensions across the country. As well as supplying timber frames to self-builders and the trade, we also provide an installation service by our own team of highly experienced joiners and builders. Our in house design team can help develop engineered designs, and produce final plans for our factory, ensuring that every beam is as accurate as possible, and that the whole project will meet your family's needs and wishes. Using our own cranes, we can provide a combined haulage and installation service, reducing your costs and build time.
All of Roof Profile's timber roof trusses are designed and fabricated to conform to BS5268 Part 3 and, in addition to fabricating standard trusses, we specialise in meeting the requirements of more complex roof designs. Roof Profiles' cutting edge computer software, means that we can offer the most practical and cost effective designs to our customers - whatever their project, and however specific their requirements.
