Manterfield Builders was initially established in the early 80's by Craig's Father, Colin Manterfield. Craig joined the Company in 1989 from leaving School. There has been several changes to the Infrastructure over the decades however the core and values of the Company have remained the same, up to the present day we are still serving local people with high quality and cost effective workmanship. Manterfield's now has 2 Directors Craig Manterfield & Andrea Manterfield a Husband & Wife Team. Craig Manterfield handles the running of the Construction & Roofing Divisions whilst Andrea a qualified AAT Accountant runs the Clerical, Administration and Finance divisions of the Company.

We specialise in all aspects of Roofing, We carry out full roofing programme storm damage grand roofs pointing. If you require slate replacements Manterfield Builders offer a roofing and guttering service. From a simple gutter clean through to a full re-roof we do it all. One of the problems that can occur if the slates are missing or in a sorry state is damage to your roof timbers including rafters. This can happen as the water is allowed to penetrate the roof and get inside on to the timbers. Underneath your slates or tiles you will have slate battens these are used to fix the roof coverings to.

We prioritise Storm Damage work we will visit, provide typed detailed quotation within the hour, often carrying out repairs within same day. In the storms of early Dec 13 we quotes and carried out repairs working around the clock to over 60 homes within a week making our customers safe and problem free for the upcoming festive period. Over the years we have worked on all kinds of roof's ranging from outbuildings, hotels, shops, Businesses, all types of homes and even Churches.
