Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing is an essential qualification that many of the IKO Technical Services team have attained, allowing IKO to offer some of the best advice and guidance within the industry. The Technical Services team members working with IKO Hyload product ranges have attained the essential industry qualification of Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing. IKO provides a comprehensive Technical Support Service for architects, specifiers, contractors, merchants, retail and DIYers.

Introducing the IKO Fix That Hut scheme, repairing roofs in the community. The campaign was launched in 2006 to celebrate IKO's centenary year, and was inspired when the company pledged materials were originally used in 1911. The ‘Fix That Hut' campaign seeks out needy projects such as village halls, scout huts and other buildings which are at the heart of local communities with the UK. IKO will donate free waterproofing materials for successful and deserving projects. Each year, we hope to help many more communities preserve and restore their precious meeting places.

CRASH is the construction industry's charity. A unique, practical charity that assists homeless and hospice charities with construction related projects. IKO assists CRASH in the projects they are involved in by providing roofing, waterproofing and insulation building materials and the technical knowledge to use them. One such project was the The Pilsdon Community Trust in Dorset. This is a working farm and refuge assisted by CRASH. Homeless people come to Pilsdon in a time of crisis, recovering from family breakdown, mental illness, addiction or coping with bereavement, and the centre offers accommodation and work for them whilst they are there.
