Spray foam insulation is the modern solution to roofing and insulation problems on all types of buildings and premises.

As our foam insulation system is a spray applied system it reacts very quickly when applied, this prevents the foam from simply falling off a sprayed area. Due to the reaction times, spray foam cannot easily be used to 'fill' or 'inject' an area behind plasterboards or similar. As a basic rule of thumb, in order to spray an area you need to be able to see it. No. When used to upgrade the insulation of a roof, spray foam is sprayed across the whole roof and down into the eaves to create a 'warm-roof'.

We carry out a lot of work in agricultural buildings, both new and old, and apply foam insulation to all sorts of roof and wall materials. Probably the most common type of roofing material we apply our spray foam insulation to is asbestos or fibre cement, probably as this was and still is one of the most popular materials used for this type of building. This particular building was an older agricultural building, approximately 50 - 60 years old, and had an asbestos roof and asbestos clad walls coming down to meet with block walls at the bottom.

We had an impossible dome-shaped outhouse to insulate and were delighted to find someone willing to take it on! They worked through the snow and finished it in no time. We were amazed by the transformation from a cold, dank and musty hovel to a warm, dry and cozy space in less than 24 hours. Only wish we'd discovered RIS sooner! Did you know that thousands of homes across the country are not properly insulated? From damaged roofs to inefficient wall cavity insulation. There's no need to shop round, we are the one stop shop for all your domesticated spray foams needs including wall cavities, floors, roofs and ceilings.

Spray foam roof insulation is a 2 component expanding polyurethane system, consisting of 2 specialised liquid chemical components. These components are contained in steel drums transported to site on our specially equipped vehicles, and are contained on the vehicles throughout the installation process. Once any required roof work is completed our highly trained installers begin the process of setting up and installing the spray foam. Along with the chemical components, our vehicles also contain all the specialised machinery required to install the finished foam product.

Modern Building Regulations in Britain mean that new builds and conversions need to meet exceedingly stringent insulation values. Also, air pressure leakage tests are an increasing part of modern regulations to make sure that buildings are using the most efficient methods of insulation. Spray foam insulation can help you satisfy these regulations and ensure that your building meets modern standards. Because our spray foam insulation is applied as a liquid it will seek and seal any gaps and cracks providing a monolithic layer of insulation which eliminates condensation.
