Wright Building Services was established in 2000, based near Stamford, Lincolnshire and originally began as a construction/joinery company; in 2013 we were approached to design and install a raised podium for a local gymnastics club and our venture into gymnastics began there! Since 2013 we have designed, manufactured and installed raised pit podiums and sunken pits for gymnastics clubs throughout the UK and have designed podiums & complete floor layouts for clubs throughout the world. Offering a flexible and detailed service we have established excellent, long standing, working relationships with our customers across the UK.
We use 500mm x 500mm carpet tiles as they are inter-changeable if they become damaged - fitting using carpet tackifier glue keeps the tiles firmly in place but also allows them to be removed/replaced if needed. The carpet tiles are available in a variety of colours and are extremely hard wearing. The tiles are used on the podium floor, access stairs and can also be used on side walls. We use a 4-inch velcro hook fastening tape rather than metal cover strips to cover any edges to ensure there is no screws or fastenings that could damage bare feet.
