Heather taught me everything i know about curtain making back in the (cough cough) 80s. its an Aladdin's cave of fabrics and haberdashery, I can always find what i'm looking for in there, and, have fond memories of working in there way back when. Lovely, friendly, always helpful Staff too!
I purchased a pair of made to measure curtains and a blind for a small standard living room which cost over 700. That's fine - however there was no apology that they were delayed for 2-3weeks - which I didn't know until I kept chasing. The curtains are too long - he said she said scenario. However, when asked if they would make an alteration for me me this was at an additional charge of 75! I can't afford this on top of what I have paid. I would have thought they would have offered this a kind gesture given the delay. Friendly staff until you have a problem then they don't want to know. Shame as would have been nice to use and support a local business but I won't be using again.
