We specialise in the restoration of upholstered furniture and high-quality hand made curtains, blinds, and pelmets. We are a family run firm that has been in business for several generations, since 1976. We undertake a wide variety of projects; Upholstered antique furniture restoration, dining chairs, traditional and modern sofa re-upholstery, cushion interior replacement, bespoke furniture made to customer's sizes.
We specialise in the restoration of upholstered furniture and high-quality hand made curtains, blinds, and pelmets. Sarah is the curtains, blinds and soft furnishings side of the business. Sarah has been involved in interiors since she was 16 years of age. She taught herself basic curtain making skills to beautifully dress her own windows and discovered she had a natural 'eye' for colour combinations and a love of hand stitching. Sarah's passion for working with fabrics drove her to complete a course at Suffolk College to gain more knowledge and skill in all aspects of window dressing.
At Cherish Upholstery and Curtains we have established an enviable reputation for our high-quality window dressings, and excellent value. Sarah designs and makes curtains, roman blinds and pelmets for houses large and small. She also creates beautifully shaped pelmets for large stately homes, or smaller country cottages and the end result is always stunning. Whether you need a lot of help with your choices or just a little advice, we can come to see you in your own home and bring all our fabric samples and knowledge with us.
