We specialize in the upholstery of period and antique furniture. We maintain the traditions and techniques of upholstery which evolved over the last four centuries. When restoring upholstered antique furniture we use tacks or staples - which ever is more appropriate. Horsehair and Coconut fibre (sometime straw, wool or cotton) is used instead of foam. Springs are sewn in by hand. Our customers can be sure that we research every job and revert to our extensive experience in order to give each piece the appropriate upholstery.
