Solidity

We are a family run Solid Surface manufacturing company based in High Wycombe. Corian, HI-MACS and Krion fabrication uses joinery skills and we have a team of highly trained permanent staff who make your projects in our workshop. Solidity was started 15 years ago by a husband and wife team who had both worked previously in the Solid Surface industry. Katie Cook worked with her father, David Axworthy (one of the first people to work with Corian when it was introduced to the UK in the 1980s), from childhood so Corian is in her blood.

Corian, HI-MACS and Krion make beautiful, strong and practical Solid Surface kitchen worktops. These materials are ideal for countertops and other surfacing applications where extreme durability, versatility and lasting beauty are a must (with a minimum 10 year warranty). With an ever-expanding collection of colours and styles, there is a solid surface that will blend perfectly into any design. Because Solid Surface is non-porous, it is easy to clean and if damaged we can normally perform un-noticeable repairs.

Despite thehuge range ofbathsin the marketplacethere are still occasions when a specification cannot be met by an off the shelf item and a bespokeproduct is needed. For these cases Solidity canproduce a made to measurebathusing Corian, HI-MACS or Krion. Solidity bespoke baths can be made in more than one piece and seamlessly fused together on site. This means that our baths can be fitted in places where access is restricted or where stock items are too big or too heavy to be installed. Seamless, single piece surrounds made from Corian and HI-MACS are an attractive and permanent way to make a bath fit a difficult space.

Solidity can supply made to measure Corian, HI-MACS and Krion vanity tops incorporating one of our huge range of standard basins. We can either fabricate a worktop to fit your furniture or we can make the entire vanity unit to your exact specification. The design possibilites are endless and with our 3D computer modelling, we can show you exactly what your design will look like before we start to make it. Moisture resistant and strong, Solid Surfaces, are perfect for making carcasses, shelves and doors for use in very wet or high humidity environments (such as steam rooms or swimming pool areas).

Solidity has developed a unique, beautiful, seamless wet room floor system that is guaranteed leak proof for 15 years. Our wet room floors require no tanking and have no grout lines (unlike tile and stone) so are easy to keep clean and hygienic. Our floors will not leak nor crack. They have a finish which is smooth and hard yet flexible enough to move with the surrounding or supporting structure. Solidity wet rooms are made with the solid surface materials Corian, Krion or HI-MACS. These materials have a satin finish which is warm to the touch like wood.
