Shelving Solutions specialises in custom-made fitted furniture for the home and home-office. Operating in Oxford and the surrounding areas including Wantage, Wallingford, Abingdon, Bicester, Witney and Woodstock, our aim is to provide furniture that is both stylish and functional, maximising the use of the space available and enhancing the appearance of the room. Shelving Solutions has been serving clients in the Oxford area since 2000. Founded by the current owner Rod Pigott, Shelving Solutions originally specialised in providing stylish bespoke shelving. Over the years the business has grown and now offers fitted and free standing furniture for every room in the home. Produced in our workshop near Abingdon, all aspects of furniture design, construction and installation are carried by us-we do not sub-contract work. We are especially proud of the fact that a large part of our work comes either from repeat business or through recommendations.
Shelving Solutions can provide fitted wardrobes in a wide range of styles to fit your taste, budget and the space available. For a painted finish wardrobes would typically be constructed in manufactured boards. If you prefer timber, we would typically use a combination of real wood-veneered boards and solid timber. Wardrobe interiors can be designed to meet your needs and can include hanging space drawers and shoe racks. If you have the available space we can also create a walk-in wardrobe for you.

Made this desk to my daughter's design and with her help, as she heads off to drama school. The top is made from reclaimed floor joists from Raw in Oxford (highly recommended for reclaimed timber and a great social enterprise). The legs are from the Hairpin Leg Company. Total cost - less than 50.
This space was created by stealing from a large bedroom. It now works perfectly as a home office. I'm wondering how many more people may be thinking along similar lines?
