All our woven axminster and wilton carpets are designed and made in Wilton using British wool, regarded as the world's best for its blend of resilience and recovery. Embracing our heritage with our traditional narrowlooms and broadlooms, still lovingly operated to this day, and celebrating innovation with electronic jacquard broadlooms and a state-of-the-art robotic high-speed loom, we make carpets which reflect our passion and culture.

Wilton Carpets' Axminster Rapide Collection gives you fast access to high-quality commercial carpet for a wide range of locations. Carpets in these collections are usually ready for delivery within 14 days, depending upon the quantity, and with no minimum order. These carpets are ideal for medium to high-traffic areas, delivering wear-resistance and the soil-hiding properties.

There are more than 60 breeds of British sheep and thanks to our inclement weather, the wool these hardy British sheep produce is bulky and strong; ideal for use in our commercial carpets. The only type of its kind in the UK, this recently installed Van de Wiele high-speed loom has increased efficiency five-fold over the machine it replaced and allows us unparalleled flexibility.
