We are major stockholders of timber products, including hardwood, softwood and sheet material, as well as engineered and modified products. The full range is available for collection in Bristol or via worldwide delivery. We have a large computer operated modern machining facility and can offer a fully bespoke and intentionally flexible machining service, with minimal lead time. We also offer CNC Routing and Cutting, Preservative Treatment Priming, Painting & Coating and Sheet Material Cutting. Our Bristol depot includes a sales counter which offers in the region of 300 stock timber product profiles, which we machine inhouse, alongside a full range of sheet materials, adhesives, finishes, fixings and fastenings and much more.

Engineered blanks are formed by joining multiple layers of timber together, and offer a very stable, versatile and attractive alternative to solid material. They are of regular size with clean and clear faces, which limits waste and makes handling and storage easier and more efficient. As technology advances, such products are becoming increasingly sought after for many applications. We stock a range of industry standard sizes and lengths, typically aimed at producing popular and frequently used mouldings, in both European Oak and Softwood.
Robbins Timber recognises that we have a simple duty to acknowledge and contribute to the protection and conservation of the world's timber supplies and other finite resources. Our policy statements are constantly under review, especially in light of new information on scientific advances, environmental and safety legislation and industrial activity.
Alongside the core range, we keep a selection of landscaping products including grooved garden and anti-slip decking. We also hold green treated angle section, baserail, featheredge, fence-capping, gravel board, handrail, pointed pegs, sleepers and spindles for you next garden project. Our machining facility can cut to size and produce bespoke firrings, angle sections and much more. The sapwood is narrow and white in colour, and the heartwood is reddish-brown. After conventional high temperature kiln drying, the wood assumes a uniform reddish-brown tone, but after long exposure to weather the colour is lost, and the wood becomes silver-grey.
