Greenbird have just completed work on our garden and we are thrilled with the result. We opted for their design service which was invaluable; they listened to what we wanted to use the space for and the problems we had with it at the time, and came up with a fantastic design that has provided us with a garden that is usable all year round.

Their workmanship and the products they have used are of the highest standard. The team were a pleasure to have around during the project, always available to discuss progress and offer suggestions of alternative products and solutions along the way which they felt were an improvement on the design.

Massive thanks to Chris, Nick, Mark and Matt, plus Stuart of SEHC Electrical Services for making this a thoroughly enjoyable experience from beginning to end. We cannot wait to enjoy our garden and are very much looking forward to the Spring when the planting will come alive.

We were struggling to find anyone to do our front garden project. GreenBird not only were willing to take it on, they came up with a stunning design after listening to what we wanted and the "feel" sought. The build took time as the location meant minimal use of power diggers etc was possible. All the guys working on the site were cheery, helpful and problem solved those little issues that can and do arise.

We knew our garden would present a real challenge being on a slope with limited access. Moreover, it lacked any real appeal to us to use as a family amenity. It was difficult to manage with existing hard landscaping falling into disrepair, overgrown shrubs, worn out decking and no sense of what it was trying to be. Having decided we needed to remedy the situation we set about finding a company to take on the work. We had several quotes but Greenbird were, not the cheapest but, head and shoulders above the competition.Chris and the team took the time to understand our requirements with sensitivity and professionalism. A bespoke garden design developed over a period of several weeks. A full itemised quote allowed adjustment of materials to personal taste and budget. The project was completed over late autumn and into winter. This was challenging but disruption was kept to a minimum and the whole team were remarkably neat, tidy and tenacious given the coldest, wettest weather we had had for some time. By the time spring had come the garden emerged like a butterfly from a chrysalis surpassing anything we could have imagined from initial outline drawings and plans.

The garden is a real legacy, having presented some real feats of engineering to assemble the stepped beds from French oak - they look terrific and have been much admired along with the grey slate and Purbeck stone steps. But like all gardens it’s beauty defies its commitment to words .....you cannot really experience the fresh fragrances of lavender and rosemary tinged with the heady perfume of David Austen roses. The latter was planned to take advantage of the Channel breeze which drifts across the seat now perfectly positioned under the cherry tree at the bottom of the garden.....a real haven of peace and tranquility. This is contrasted by the weathered oak Millboard deck which is great for entertaining and enjoying the wider view. Ten years we have lived in the house and only ventured into the garden to cut the grass, now the house is truly set within the space, both complementing one another. This transformation is largely due to Greenbird’s vision and execution. A really big THANK YOU to the whole team - we would wholeheartedly recommend to all, you will not be disappointed!

I cannot recommend Greenbird Garden Services highly enough. Not only did they give me a new space to spend the rest or my retirement very happily buy, gave me a maintenance free piece of paradise. The team are efficient, clean tidy and courteous. All they need is a little cake and cups of tea/cofee. I didn't know what design I wanted so the team had free reign but, they consulted me every step of the way. Brilliant. Thank you Greenbird.
